He feels frustrated that even after Anupama and Rahi exposed Gautam, the Kotharis refuse to accept the truth. When Rahi feels dizzy, Prem asks her to rest, but she insists on attending to the guests. Meanwhile, the guests ask Vasundhara to call Rahi. Prem tells them Rahi is unwell and resting. A lady says Vasundhara scared Rahi so much that she became dizzy. Another guest jokes that Vasundhara should write a book on how to control daughters-in-law. Annoyed, Vasundhara sends the guests away. She thinks Rahi is faking her illness to get back at her and believes Anupama has influenced Rahi with her dramatic ways. Later, Prem watches over Rahi as she sleeps. He reads poetry to her and falls asleep beside her.
At the same time, Anupama visits the central jail. She feels uneasy among the prisoners. The commissioner reassures her, saying they stare because they rarely see women. He mentions that many promised to visit but backed out due to fear. Anupama admits she is scared too but finds comfort in the thought that Lord Krishna was born in a jail, so it can’t be entirely bad. She gives a speech on Annapurna, and the commissioner encourages her to motivate the prisoners.
As she discusses the schedule, she seems distracted. The commissioner asks her why, and she thinks about the possibility of innocent prisoners suffering in jail. He says the court relies on evidence. When she asks about dangerous inmates, she is introduced to Raghav, which leaves her shocked.
Back at home, Rahi wakes up and realizes she missed her wedding night. Prem comforts her, but when Moti Baa calls him, Rahi hides. Vasundhara asks about Rahi and tells her to prepare for her pheli rasoi ritual. Rahi decides to apologize for missing the earlier ceremony. Meanwhile, after leaving the jail, Anupama takes a deep breath, salutes the staff, and thinks about Rahi’s first day at the Shah house.
The guests talk about Rahi’s education, while Moti Baa gives her a task. Anupama grows worried about Rahi.
