Armaan and Abhira arrive at their new home, but Armaan finds it hard to adjust. Abhira encourages him to stay strong and face the challenges together. Meanwhile, Kaveri learns that Armaan and Abhira are going through a tough time because of Shivani’s illness. She discovers that Abhira is managing the expenses on her own. Sanjay tells Kaveri that Abhira is the one keeping Armaan from falling apart. Kaveri appreciates Abhira’s efforts but worries about history repeating itself. She fears that Armaan might build his life away from the Poddar family.
At their new home, Armaan and Abhira start cleaning the house. Armaan feels guilty about not being able to contribute financially, but Abhira reassures him. She decides to use her savings to cover their expenses and remains hopeful that Armaan will soon find a job. She believes they will build a happy life together. Armaan, however, feels the weight of Abhira’s sacrifices. Abhira comforts him and shares her plan to bring Shivani back home. While cleaning, they notice that the tap isn’t working properly. Abhira comes up with a solution and suggests they join the line to collect water. Armaan, who has never experienced such a situation, remarks that he’s only seen this in movies. Abhira playfully tells him to treat their life as a film. While Armaan worries about the time wasted standing in line, Abhira focuses on planning their ration. She makes a list of essentials and starts cutting out expensive items. She then asks Armaan to hold their spot in the queue while she goes to get the supplies. Armaan hesitates but agrees.
As Armaan waits, some girls notice him and comment on his rich appearance. One of them jokes that he might have eloped with Abhira, while another points out that Abhira is his wife. The women use tricks to cut ahead in the line, outsmarting Armaan. A boy nearby mocks Armaan for being too naive. When Abhira returns, she realizes what happened and sends Armaan home. She decides to confront the women herself and successfully gets them to return to their original spots in the queue.
