The episode kicks off with Abhira questioning Armaan about his decision to leave the legal profession. Armaan opens up, explaining that his career success was largely tied to his family name, and now he wants to build something on his own, from scratch. Abhira can’t help but worry about what this means for his future. Curious, Armaan asks Abhira if she misses having him around in court. She shares that Sanjay has been interfering with her clients, making it nearly impossible for her to secure cases. Hearing this, Armaan is furious and wants to confront Sanjay immediately, but Abhira stops him, not wanting to escalate the situation. Armaan feels guilty, convinced that Abhira’s struggles are because of him. Abhira, however, reassures him and asks for his support instead.
Later, Abhira and Armaan decide to enjoy a quiet dinner together. During their time out, they come across a group of children who need help with their studies. A kind-hearted woman approaches them and offers them food, which leaves both Abhira and Armaan feeling touched. They then head out for some shopping, ignoring calls from Rohit and Manish, respectively.
Back at home, Rohit updates Madhav about Armaan avoiding their calls and urges him to track him down. Meanwhile, Manish expresses his concern to the family, pointing out that the Poddars have no clue where Armaan and Abhira are. He’s particularly worried about Armaan’s well-being. Meanwhile, Abhira and Armaan are adjusting to their new, simpler lifestyle, even sharing a modest meal together.
The two also take care of Shivani, feeding her and ensuring she’s comfortable. Abhira sees Shivani as someone unfamiliar to Armaan, but Shivani feels grateful to have them around. Armaan, however, is weighed down by guilt, believing that both Abhira and Shivani are suffering because of him. Madhav eventually discovers their location but decides to keep it to himself, not revealing it to the Poddar family. Feeling sympathetic toward Armaan’s situation, Madhav secretly helps him out, making sure neither Armaan nor Abhira finds out.
Abhira and Armaan discuss their future plans. Armaan decides to try his luck with walk-in interviews, while Abhira plans to start offering tuition to make ends meet. She encourages Armaan, telling him he’s more than capable and that he’ll find a job soon. Later, Armaan asks Abhira where she plans to sleep, and she sets up a cozy spot for herself. The next morning, however, they’re both shocked when Manish, Swarna, and Surekha show up unexpectedly.
